Regenerative Medicine Services
Regenerate. Renew. Experience the potential of regenerative medicine at Dynamic Stem Cell Therapy.
Regenerative Medicine Services
At Dynamic Stem Cell Therapy, we believe in providing our patients with the best opportunities for recovery, and that means finding new ways to treat old issues. Recent studies show that regenerative medicine has the ability to potentially treat a surprising number of conditions, and new research is advancing our understanding of regenerative medicine every year.
Since regenerative medicine stimulates natural healing responses in a patient's body and is less invasive than many alternatives, we are excited to offer these services to our patients. If you are interested in regenerative medicine or have any questions, please contact us or call (702) 547-6565.
How does regenerative medicine work?
Instead of painful and invasive joint surgeries or replacements, we take a gentler approach that allows biomolecules to try and recruit local healing agents from your own body. Once this natural healing response is stimulated, it can potentially repair damaged nerves, blood, skin, bone, and muscles.
Regenerative medicine treatments like stem cell therapy may be able to regenerate, renew, and rejuvenate your damaged tissues using stem cells from your own body. This procedure is minimally invasive, and since the cells come from your own body or reputable sources of human umbilical cord tissue (HUCT) there is no fear of rejection.
Using medical technology to regenerate your own body is, in essence, the heart of regenerative medicine.
This process can be broken down into two sections: stem cell therapy and PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma). Think of stem cell therapy as the seeds that regenerate new, healthy cells and PRP as the fertilizer that helps them grow.
How could regenerative medicine help me?
Regenerative medicine is believed to potentially be able to treat many conditions, including:
Musculoskeletal & Sports Injuries
Torn ligaments and other injuries may be managed through stem cell therapy treatments using stem cells from your own body to help regenerate your tendons, ligaments, and bones.
This could allow musculoskeletal and sports injuries to be treated naturally and effectively without having to worry about painful or expensive surgeries.
For people who live with debilitating cardiopulmonary conditions (heart and lung), it may seem like there are few options. However, academic and clinical research demonstrates that stem cell therapy treatments have been shown in some cases to accelerate the regeneration of strong, healthy cells in the cardiopulmonary system.
For instance, Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a disease that makes it difficult to breathe and gets worse over time. Examples of COPD are bronchitis and asthma. These conditions can produce large amounts of mucus which cause coughing, wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, and other symptoms.
Recruited resident stem cells in a patient’s own body may help patients with COPD since they can regenerate airway structures, which allows more air through those passages.
Degenerative Eye Disease
Eye diseases and damage can be incredibly frustrating to live with but with the right stem cell therapy treatments, your symptoms could get better. We offer these treatments and may be able to help you on your road to recovery.
Neurological disorders and injuries such as Alzheimer's, or the damage caused by strokes may be able to be treated with stem cell therapy.
Academic and clinical research demonstrates that stem cell therapy treatments display efficacy in assisting recovery from these often debilitating and non-responsive conditions.
Autoimmune diseases can severely hamper your body's ability to function normally, but stem cell therapy treatments could help with many conditions.
Stem cell therapy may assist in the treatment of a number of metabolic disorders and conditions, including Lyme disease, liver disease, and type II diabetes. By unlocking the power of your stem cells, you may be able to return to a more normal or comfortable life.
Stem cell therapy treatments may even help with aesthetic conditions or improve your look. Hair regrowth, face and skin rejuvenation, reducing the effects of aging, and more could all be possible.
Stem Cell Therapy Services
Stem cell therapy is a huge part of regenerative medicine. Using stem cells, you can potentially regenerate cells in your body through a minimally invasive procedure without the risk of rejection.
What are stem cells?
Stem cells are cells that have the potential to develop into some or many different cell types in the body. Serving as a sort of repair system, they can theoretically divide without limit to replenish other cells for as long as the person or animal is still alive. When a stem cell divides, each "daughter" cell has the potential to either remain a stem cell or become another type of cell with a more specialized function, such as a muscle cell, a red blood cell, or a brain cell.
These stem cells work by becoming other types of cells within the body. For instance, some stem cells could become neurons and nerve cells, while others might become skin or bone cells.
Taking care to properly apply safe procedures in the treatment of a patient allows us to perform a same-day procedure that can be quickly recovered from. Many patients return to work the following day.
How long can stem cell therapy results last?
Per our current scientific understanding, results are shown to be effective for a period of 5 - 10 years.
How soon can I potentially feel better after stem cell therapy?
Generally our patients report less pain from their conditions in as little as 2 weeks to 6 months with the greatest amount of healing happening in the first 90 - 100 days. Every patient's body is different, so please ask us if you have any questions!
How many times does a patient need injections?
For most patients, our therapy is normally a one time procedure that does not need to be repeated.
Autologous Stem Cells
Autologous means "from one's self". Because autologous tissue comes from your own body, it is one of the most natural things to use to heal your body.
Autologous stem cells are one of the greatest tools in regenerative medicine. Since the stem cells come from your own body there is believed to be little to no risk of rejection.
The procedure is quick and easy, with little to no downtime and minimal recovery restrictions. Below are some different regenerative medicine options patients may receive using autologous stem cells.
Bone Marrow Stem Cells
While we typically use umbilical cord stem cells whenever possible, we may recommend bone marrow stem cells for treatment in certain cases. The power and potential uses these stem cells have could make them the ideal option for some conditions and injuries.
Bone marrow stem cells could be especially effective at regenerating red blood cells and many other forms of tissue. Autologous bone marrow stem cells have shown promise in studies across the globe for over a decade.
Our skilled team is experienced at performing these advanced procedures, and will be happy to assist you with any questions along the way.
Adipose Stem Cells
Adipose tissue is fatty tissue, so cells from the abdomen and love handles are typically used in adipose stem cell therapy. Like other autologous tissues, they provide a natural, promising source of material for cell-based therapies.
These procedures are particularly quick and easy, with little to no downtime and minimal recovery restrictions. While not yet approved by the FDA, there is a great deal of evidence to suggest that adipose stem cell therapy could be an effective method of treatment for many patients.
Allogenic Stem Cells
Allogenic means "from elsewhere". Because allogenic tissue comes from outside your own body, you should select a trustworthy, experienced clinic that uses safe practices.
The allogenic stem cell rich product we use here is called a "Wharton's Jelly Graft." A 2016 study found that it demonstrated favorable markers compared to bone marrow stem cell in several key areas, so these may be recommended for the treatment of your particular condition.
We are the top rated regenerative medicine clinic in our area with almost 100% 5-star reviews across places like Facebook and Yelp. If you have to entrust your care to someone, we would be happy to give you a free consultation and see if an allogenic stem cell transplant is right for you.
Umbilical Cord Regenerative Medicine Grafts (Wharton's Jelly Grafts)
The umbilical cord contains a potent stem cell rich ingredient called Wharton's Jelly, whose stem cells have particular viability and are resilient with engraftment.
Wharton's jelly grafts could be used to treat a number of conditions including ones that affect the immune system or the blood itself. A recent study identified that Wharton's Jelly could even be used to treat debilitating diseases like diabetes.
Umbilical cord grafts are often used in place of autologous stem cell grafts for various reasons. They have great potential for healing the body, and since the tissues are donated by patients after birth, they do not carry the stigmas or ethical concerns that come with embryonic stem cells.
We are proud to say that we do not use embryonic stem cells at our facility, and we have no need to with our other offerings that are available.
PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma)
What is PRP? You can think of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) as the fertilizer that helps enhance regenerative medicine, since it contains important growth factors for the renewing of cells. These cells can be used to repair and rejuvenate the body.
Also autologous, PRP is essentially a fraction of your peripheral blood that can stimulate healing. Research shows that PRP activates recruited resident stem cells within your body and creates a higher likelihood of a positive response to your regenerative medicine procedure.
When elected, PRP is a critical part of the regenerative medicine services we offer.
What could PRP help with?
Because PRP activates recruited resident stem cells, it can potentially stimulate healing and enhance treatment of a number of injuries and disorders. Some we are aware of from current medical research include the following:
What is a PRP injection?
PRP injections are focused injections of platelet rich plasma containing important growth elements. When injected, this platelet rich plasma can stimulate your body's natural healing responses so that you heal and recover faster, just like platelets help you heal from a cut.
What are the benefits of a PRP injection?
Since PRP is platelet rich and contains important growth factors, it can inflammation and injury heal more quickly.
Think about when you get cut. Your platelets gather at the site of the injury, forming a scab while your skin heals. Eventually, the scab falls off, the scar heals, and the pain fades. This is exactly what happens inside the body, too, and PRP can help stimulate this process at the site of your injury or inflammation.
What is a PRP facial?
As an aesthetic treatment meant to rejuvenate skin and provide a more youthful look, PRP facials may reduce fine lines and wrinkles without surgery. Because of this, PRP facials are a popular treatment for people who want to look younger and more beautiful.
What are the benefits of a PRP facial?
Collagen stimulation caused by a PRP facial can result in a decrease of fine lines and wrinkles, and the procedure could also improve skin tone and even tighten lax skin.
How do you obtain the PRP?
We take a small amount of venous blood from you (the patient) and isolate the PRP layer. We take whole blood through sterile venipuncture for processing. Prior to the procedure the blood is transferred into a closed vacutainer tube and centrifuged to extract the PRP.
What is the procedure like for a PRP facial?
PRP facials are performed by using microneedling to prepare the face to receive a wash of important growth factors from a patient's own blood. PRP facials like these could tighten lax skin, improve skin tone, stimulate collagen growth, and smooth out fine lines and wrinkles.
